Internet policy and Internet Use Code of Practise
Students granted access to the Internet, including e-mail, will abide by the Code of Practice.
All users of the Internet are expected to abide by the generally accepted rules of computer and network use.
Students agree that they will not perform the following unacceptable actions:
Student and parent consent
While it is our firm intention that access to the Internet will be granted to students solely in order to further the teaching objectives of the school, students may have the ability to access other materials as well. We cannot control the information that may be found on the Internet. The information that students may be able to access through the Internet may include material that is illegal, defamatory, inaccurate or in some other way objectionable.
Therefore, no student will be granted access to the Internet without both student and parent (or guardian) signing the consent forms available at the school attached to a copy of this Code of Conduct.
The parental consent form allows parents and guardians to confirm that their child may or may not have access to the Internet.
